Who we are

Since 1976 Corporate Art Source, Inc. has been a member of Chicago's professional art community as a gallery designed specifically to address the art needs of businesses and public sector clients both nationally and internationally. Since its founding, Corporate Art Source has serviced such diverse clients as: Winston & Strawn, American Hospital Association, The Chicago Mercantile Exchange, IBM, Sherman Hospital's multi million dollar art acquisition and the cities of Chicago and Philadelphia.

In 1997, we were called upon by the Board of Trustees, Chicago Public Schools, to manage a city-wide art inventory, appraisal and conservation project involving over 7,000 works valued at over $50 million. Our success resulted in our appointment as curator to this collection. The Art Institute of Chicago has chosen to feature works, discovered by us as a result of this project, in an exhibit in their Rice Galleries, March 23 – August 11, 2002, an unprecedented honor for us and the City of Chicago.

Subsequent to the success of this unprecedented search for artistic assets, we were retained by the School District of Philadelphia to conduct a city wide art inventory.

We were able to uncover millions and millions of lost and forgotten treasures which are now in the safe hands of the City of Philadelphia and the School District's Board of Trustees.

Who's been talking about us

Everyone loves a little attention and our past projects have not failed to impress. Our experience with public relations stems from the major network coverage of our past projects. The numerous radio interviews, front page feature stories by the Chicago Tribune and global Associated Press coverage have positioned us to assist our clients in promoting their interests beyond expectation.

The following is a small sample of our project's print, radio and web coverage:

Our work with the Chicago Public Schools was reported nationally. Including appearances on NPR and "World News Tonight" with Peter Jennings. The following is a sample of articles published about our work with CPS.

Following the success of our CPS Art recovery project, we were retained by the City of Philadelphia to replicate that effectiveness within the bounds of their own public school infrastructure. After our findings were presented publicly, 27 cities in the United States and numerous media outlets around the world reported on our project. The following is a brief collection of press pertaining to our Philadelphia discovery, including Kathleen Bernhardt's second NPR interview.
